Bin Buddies – Terms of Service

Welcome to Bin Buddies. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our trash bin placement and return services. By subscribing to our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 
1. Service Overview
Bin Buddies provides weekly curbside trash bin takeout and return services aligned with your local garbage and recycling collection schedule.
1.1 Service Timing
Bins will be returned to their designated location by 6:00 PM on your scheduled pickup day. Since collection times vary by neighborhood and service type (trash vs. recycling), return times may differ slightly, but all bins will be returned within a resonable time period on the trash collection day.

 
2. Customer Responsibilities
2.1 You agree to provide accurate and complete service information, including your name, service address, bin location, collection times, and any access details.
2.2 You are responsible for ensuring that bins are accessible on service days (e.g., gates unlocked/gate code provided, no obstructions).
2.3 If your bin location or schedule changes, you must notify Bin Buddies at least 48 hours in advance to avoid service interruption.

 
3. Subscription & Billing
3.1 Bin Buddies operates on a recurring subscription basis, billed every four (4) weeks via Stripe.
3.2 By subscribing, you authorize automatic, recurring payments until cancellation.
3.3 Subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods or missed service due to inaccessible bins or incorrect information.

 
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 You may cancel your subscription at any time.
4.2 Service will remain active through the end of your current billing cycle.
4.3 No refunds will be provided for unused service periods.

 
5. Missed or Skipped Service
5.1 Bin Buddies is not responsible for missed service due to customer error, including locked access points or inaccurate scheduling information.
5.2 If you wish to skip service temporarily, please provide at least three (3) days’ notice.

 
6. Liability
6.1 Bin Buddies will exercise reasonable care in handling your property.
6.2 We are not liable for damage to trash bins.
6.3 We do not move, handle, or dispose of hazardous materials.

 
7. Changes to Terms
7.1 Bin Buddies reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
7.2 Updated Terms will be posted on our website and become effective immediately upon publication. Continued use of our service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
